Due to the huge H1N1 virus, Averie wasnt' able to go into the hospital at all. So she was so excited when she was finally able to se him. She really is good with him and has never once asked him to go back.

We might be bias, but isn't he SO Cute. Lincoln came on November 6th. He was a little late but perfect none the less.

Vacation to Seattle and Victoria

Danton and I outside the Parliament. They started lighting it up for the Queen a long time ago and have done it ever since.

We had such a good time enjoying Tea at the Empress. What an experience.

We made it to the lovely Butchart Gardens. It was absolutely stunning even though it rained the entire time.

Danton and I really enjoyed some time away. This last year was pretty difficult and it was great to enjoy some time together. Also, it was our last getaway before Lincoln came. Averie also enjoyed her time with Nanny and Papa. She has said that she was on vacation too. I am thinking she wasn't spoiled at all!!!

Averie Turns 5

Averie is enjoying a little "pretend" birthday as she calls it. My mom and dad were going to be out of the country on her birthday so my mom helped her plan a little party for a few of her friends. They went together to pick out some decorations and a cake. She decided to go with an Ariel party.

Her cake was really several cupcakes put together in the shape of a crown. Really cute.

Now this is her "real" birthday. She woke up and was so excited to open all the presents that had been coming in the mail that week.

She got this cute outfit from the Oklahoma crew. She wore it for 3 days. I think she liked it.

She was so excited to wear her birthday ribbon from Nanny and Papa.

It was fun watching her enjoy all her birthday activities. I can't believe that our little girl is 5! It has been so much fun being her mom. She always keeps my on my toes.
