Ballet Recital
Last weekend was Averie's Ballet Recital. I may be biased but I think think she is a beautiful ballerina.

Kindergarden Graduation
So, I can't believe she is done with KG. Here is a picture of her on her last day of school.
We will miss them SO much next year. They did such a great job with her!!
Things she learned. She has amazing penmanship, she loves to read and is getting better and better. She loves art. She loves math (funny because that's her mom's favorite too!!!!) She just loves to learn and loves school I love that about her and hope it last for a while longer.
Until first grade everyone!!!!
A little catching up to do!!

Nebraska and More
We were able to catch up with our GREAT friends Brenda and Emil last weekend in Nebraska. As always we had a blast and laughed a lot. We absolutely love them and love that they love and enjoy our little kiddos as well.
Uncle Emil enjoying Averie's tea
Daddy and Danton enjoying there time as well.
It has been 2 years since we lost Danton's dad to Pancreatic Cancer. We hadn't seen his stone so we all made the trek out to see it. It was also special because for Danton's last speech in his Public Speaking class they were to do a commemorative speech and he choose his dad, and it was a great speech.
Averie helped put new flowers out
This side was dedicated to his military service
This side was dedicated to his family
On Monday Danton finished up his last class for the Spring Semester!!! I am so impressed with how well he does especially with all that is on his plate. He came away from both classes with A's.
Now we are ready to submit the final paperwork for Paramedic School and selection will be made in a couple months. He has been given verbal acceptance to Denver Health's Paramedic Program and if all goes through he will start in September and it goes until next August. This is a very intense program that will require school 3 nights a week for 4 hours and also 500 clinical hours. Knowing that he will have to put a lot of himself into that program we decided it would be best to take this summer off of school.
So, one person down with school and now we just have Averie. Very bittersweet. I am glad Danton is done but with Averie being done it just means she is growing and is going to be in 1st grade. Where did my little girl go?

Easter
Happy Easter Everyone. What a weekend we had here. On Saturday I had the kids all loaded up in the car to go to a Easter Egg Hunt and I realized my car battery was completely dead. Averie was so bummed that we didn't go to the hunt but her nanny and papa came out to charge the battery and she got to a couple of crafts with her Nanny instead.
Sunday we had a fun day. We started with church then it was off to Nanny and Papas for lunch and homemade ice cream.

They love their Nanny and Papa
My two guys!!!
Winding the clock is one of Averie's favorite things to do and now Lincoln is starting to join in the fun!!

Our Dairy
When Averie was one we decided to get our milk from a local dairy. Besides the milk there are so many things I love about the dairy. More than just getting milk my kids get to enjoy so many other experiences. If they are milking you can go in and watch and lately Averie has even got to help out. The dairy has about 12 cows they milk regularly and they use a machine but on this last visit Kenny let Averie try her hand at milking a cow by hand. She was so excited and loved it. They also had 2 baby cows that were only 2 days old. Kenny let Averie and Lincoln go out and see them and Averie even got to name them. The cow in the all the pictures with the kids was born about 4 weeks ago, Averie named this one Polkadot!! Thanks Johnson's Acres for such a great dairy experience!!!
